  1. What is the RetireRight Center?
    Located in downtown Chicago, this non-profit organization has been established to provide personalized coaching and workshops to help people plan the non-financial aspects of retirement.
  2. Do I need to be part of a group to be involved in the planning of my retirement?
    No, you can receive personalized, one-on-one coaching to supplement the self-discovery exercises that are provided.
  3. What does it cost to work with a coach?
    There is a set fee schedule, but since we are a non-profit organization, we will never turn you down and we can arrange a payment plan that is right for you.
  4. What do we cover in the workshops?
    Please read our workshop offerings under the Tab of Products and Services.  We can then discuss a suitable workshop or workshops for your organization that will meet your particular organizational needs.
  5. Why should I read your book?
    The book is a self-help guide that contains lots of wonderful information about the issues that come up when a person is starting to think about retiring. This may include topics such as housing, health, relationships, working, time management and finances.  The book is unique in that it contains over 80 self-discovery exercises that you can complete to help you begin the process of planning your retirement.  The focus is on the non-financial aspects, but there is also a chapter on finances, just to make sure all the bases are covered.

  7. What is the relationship of this site to the RetireRight Center site?
    This site is focused on products, such as the book, “Customize…don’t minimize…Your Retirement,”©  CD’s, Free Resources, Surveys, Games and so forth.  The RetireRight Center’s mission is focused on coaching and workshops for people in transition to the retirement years and want to plan for the future.
  8. Approximately, how much do your workshops cost?
    Workshops vary in length and are priced according to time commitment, materials, space requirements and the number of attendees.  We would be happy to discuss your needs and how we can best address these and work out a suitable cost structure.
  9. How does your work differ from other retirement coaching?
    We have no interest in managing your money, unlike most retirement coaches.  Neither do we focus on psychological testing.  We also are a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to help others and allows us to accommodate almost anyone who wants to plan their future.   Our focus is on developing a plan that is unique to each client’s situation, needs, skills, values, personality and interests.
